Tripe !!!

    I have just been to the local abatoir and got 2 tripes i have put them into a bucket of water, what do i do now chop it up and feed it or do i have to cook it help needed please.:arf:

    just chop it up give it like that, dont cook it, it will stink the house out.

    Eeeeurgh please that brings back memories. My uncle worked in the abbatoir when we were young and tho we were brought up on the besta butchermeat, we were also given tripe 'n' onions boiled in milk.
    Now as an adult, I have no idea in hell how I ate the stuff *serious heave here* because I know when I was little, I loved it, however, if you had to put the stuff in front of me now ???????

    Dont whatever you do MICROWAVE IT cos it'll stink your house out and you'll be left heaving and retching.

    I know this from experience :scared:

    Urgh.. remember going to my mates as a teenager and her mum was boiling tripe in a huge pan on the hob.. house stunk like nothing i've smelt before or since..
