    Hey Folks!

We're bringing our German Shepherd pup home in a few weeks - very very excited - and we will need to sort out some training classes for him.

Can anyone please recommend a class near Camberley/Sandhurst?

We're very keen on reward based training - using a ball/toy rather than treats.

    Ta very much in advance!

There are several. I've sent you a private message as I don't like putting home telephone numbers on a public forum.

The only place I know is near Bracknell, Oakwood Park Kennels. The lady's name is Stella Smyth, she breeds Australian Cattle Dogs & German Shepherds. Have a look at her website. Hope this helps.

3 Counties Dog Training is good... I'm in Camberley, well I work there :)

I know that a few vets in the area run puppy parties and if you're interested in showing, there is Farnborough and District Ringcraft :)

Even if in class people are using treats you still can use a ball. Treats are popular on reward based training because more dogs are responding to it. I meet few obsessed with a ball and they work only for it.
