Was a bit shocked to be honest, did have it on last week but didn't actually pay attention to it but made a concerted effort to devote an hour to watch.

Dr Who would roll in his TARDIS if he saw the comings (cough) and goings in this spin off

Hmmm, Im not sure about this series. I liked it at first, esp the concept, but now it just seems abit slow and serious.:( I miss all the freaky stuff like weevils and giant pterradactyls!!:D
Although it is nice to see that Jack is still on form!;)

2 scenes have been cut from this series for British audiences but allowed in America.

I love Torchwood it's a very grown up spin off of Dr Who.
I thought it was good that they broadcast 2 versions of the 1st series, one on at 6pm for the younger audiences and the full uncut after 9pm.

However I'm not enjoying this series as much - I think the idea is brilliant -but it's in a bit of a no-mans land inbetween British and American humour.

WTF have they done to Torchwood!!!!! I loved this before, but now it's just another American rehash of British programme. Ok, they've still got the bare bones of a British cast, but it just 'feels' wrong. Over done and over polished, not the nice natural feeling it had before. You could imagine it really happening, but now it's just so overdone it could be just one in a long string of glossy American disaster movies.
I'll carry on watching it to see how it ends, but I'm so disappointed with it

I love Torchwood but think the gay scene was totally unnecessary to show.
