I have read with great interest dozens of topics on here. I am a bloke, 37 and my main interests are dog training and dog sports.

I have two dogs Benson (roughly 10 years old) a Bedlington Terrier he came to me as a rescue with some serious issues ( relating to nervous aggresion) he is a great friendly confident dog now and over the years has done agility and obedience he has recently retired and trains now only for fun.

Lewie is 2 years old and a extremely focused young dog. His searching and tracking skills are very good and his agility and obedience are getting there I am very proud of him. He is a black labradoodle ( I know they aren't everyones cup of tea but I love him and thats all that matters surely???)

We are all very lucky to live in a lovely dog friendly part of Northumberland and have plenty of space and friends with dogs to walk with.

Hello, I'm pretty new here too! Lovely photos - I am a big fan of Doodles although I have GSD. I have never taken Jaz to agility due to having two young children and working part-time. Now the kids are older, Jaz is too old to start!

    Your dogs are lovely..

Dont worry about not getting too much of a welcome, things move so fast here sometimes threads get lost before they get seen..( if that makes sense?)

    Hiya!
Nice to see another Bedlington Terrier owner on here. There aren't many of us around. Benson is looking fantastic for his age. He is gorgeous.. So is Lewie..

I own to Beddie's myself. So love seeing others around

    Hi,
I'm new on here too.........used to live in Northumberland, miss it too. Where about's are you and where do you train your dogs? They are two super looking dogs, Doodle's are intelligent so you'll soon get Lewie sorted, you must enjoy him immensly.

I live on the river Blyth just on the edge of Bedlington.

I train my dogs on local land and also at Alnwick with the North Northumberland Dog Training Club :)

Lewie is a great dog and to be fair I know how lucky I am to have him, He just loves to work.

Good Morning............I know it well!!! I used to go to Blyth to train my dogs, many years ago now like. My uncle lives at Stakeford, near the river. Alnwick is quite a journey for you, it must be a good club. I also went to an agility club at Wallsend, not sure it's still there now. Have you always lived in Northumberland?

It is worth the drive to the dog club :D
There are still a couple of dog clubs around the Wallsend area.

As I always say I am very lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
