Yes, I have seen them on dogs before and the ones I have seen used have not had any effect. They do fit like a snug dog jacket. Be aware that the Thundershirt is a knockoff. The original and only patented pressure wrap, The Anxiety Wrap actually came out in 2001, eight years prior to the introduction of the Thundershirt and consists of a much better design. It was designed by a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and TTouch Practitioner who experimented with over 90 different designs before coming up with her patented product, the only patented pressure wrap on the market. To read about the differences between the Thundershirt and the original Anxiety Wrap, see this article.to me they look like not much more than a doggy jacket, if a little tighter

To be honest the video just looked like normal play.Tilly has a massive desire to get to other dogs, SOME owners see it as an attack but in reality she want to associate with the dogs, but she is a bit rough, our BC Glen is well used to her, they never fight but playtime can look like a WWE event. When out on a lead she will backflip, whimper, cry, get behind me, nip anything in range, her logic escapes her, we think she may have had a litter early on and wants to meet every other dog....

most of the time shes a good doggy
a few owners have said "let her off" (the lead) and once off she runs at the other dog and no warfare happens, one old boy has a docile Talbot hound hound who just looks at Tilly with disdain...
As a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner and highly experienced registered nurse with a previous specialty and certification in critical care, bachelor's degree in science, a master's in higher and adult education plus graduate education in canine biology and behavior, I highly recommend the original and only patented pressure wrap, The Anxiety Wrap.As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a Tellington TTouch Practitioner, I highly recommend and use Thundershirt for a variety of issues including noise/thunder anxiety and reactivity/fear issues with dogs and with cats. Linda Tellington-Jones, founder of the TTouch Method has been advocating the use of pressure/body wraps for decades and Thundershirt is the only wrap sold on the official TTouch website.
The main reasons I recommend the Thundershirt over other body wraps products: it is the easiest to put on and adjust, which minimizes stress for the animal as well as the pet parent, it has no cumbersome extra straps, and, in the vast majority of cases, eases anxieties, relaxes body tension, reduces arousal, etc. and Thundershirt has a 45 day money back guarantee.
Because Thundershirts are now so widely available at retail stores, veterinary offices, and direct from professional trainers, you can take your dog with you to try out which size is the best fit, which takes the guesswork out of determining sizes.
I have written extensively about the TTouch Method and body wraps for the Association of Pet Dog Trainer professional journal, The Chronicle of the Dog. You can download the entire series of articles from my website at: Dog Training Resources.
