I’m conflicted on this one. I know I complained about the new feature and have been critical of VS and I stand by all that, but I’m also one who’s not sure how much difference this will make, though I applaud the effort.

There’s also things such as poorly cats to keep an eye on and we’ve had recent bereavements, so for me personally it feels a bit wrong to disappear right now (not that me being online or not makes a huge difference, I realise that).

So yes I know it’s a bit illogical but that’s where my head is at the moment 😬

We never know when members might need that extra community support so to completely stop feels wrong. I personally want to be there for @Charity and @urbantigers at this time and I know I need the PF vibes massively right now too.

 

Me too @TonyG and @huckybuck. Plus another concern I have is that the forum will be shut down if there isn’t any activity. I’d hate to lose contact will all the lovely people on here.

 

I'm torn between both 'sides'. I totally understand both points of view and can't make a decision. I'm not a big poster, but am on here reading several times a day, every day, and get great pleasure from it. I'd also hate for it to be shut down due to inactivity.

 

Frankly I don't think this embargo will make VS sit up and take notice !

Personally I shall continue posting as like others have already commented, I don't want to lose contact (albeit only cyber) with the lovely people on this forum.

 

I would just like to point out @JoanneF has always said continue to post on advice or support threads if needed so I don’t want it to seem as if I was implying otherwise.

 

I have had a few emails from " head office " recently encouraging me to check out the forum again I assume because I dont post as regularly as I used to .This makes me think that lack of posting is an issue for them especially if it is on a thread that normally attracts a lot of posts so even if it is only a token gesture where we only reply to necessary threads it might just make them realise that we , the members are not happy .
Even the posting on the threads concerning this very issue will not be helping VS if more people are being encouraged to check it out .
