i have just read the thread re the dog who only pees at home.

the words ppl use to get the dog to pee made me have images of frustrated owners encouraging their dogs using really funny words.

so ,what word/s do you use to get them going?

i liked the piddles one lmao.

i use a real manly one but it dont seem to work, i say 'slash' lol, i deffo couldnt say wee wees or piddles in case someone heard me.:blushing:

We're confusing our dog....husband says, "do your business" and I specify the business with "tinkle" and "poop". Which I'm sure our non-dog owning neighbors just love hearing me coo, "Yay Stella! Good Poop!!!!" from over the fence.

I use 'Go pee' too. Dixie will always go as soon as I tell her. Dave takes his time to pick the right spot.

I enforced this word after seeing a woman at the train station nearly miss her train, My dog had peed straight away and I went to wait on the platform. The woman was standing there, using a really stupid tone of voice, saying 'please go tee tee for mummy, come on princess, go tee tee' The dog had no idea what she wanted. They woman ran to the train just in time.. and the dog peed on the floor!!

Dixie will only pee on grass though, Dave will go anywhere. My word for poops is 'Hurry up' I got that one off my dad's gf she uses the same workd for both though.

The 'chocolate starfish'? LOL... I got my dog used to the idea that 'wee-wees' meant both or either... much less complicated and embarrassing!
