For info: title of page is 'puppy drowned in bath by 'barbaric' burglars'.

I'm not sure what runs through people's heads. Was the dog barking and they needed him quiet? Or are they just psychopaths? Either way, I despair.

Perhaps they thought he might have been able to identify them.

It is because of incidents such as these and the way in which the 'law' often regards them, I would be quite happy to take the law into my own hands if ever I caught someone in the act of being cruel to an animal.

I agree but sods laws says you do that and you end up in prison while the scumbag harming the animal gets a slap on the wrist......where animal cruelty is concerned lady justice is indeed blind

Well, to put a happy end to our long, long story of the consequences of our interfering in a case of animal abuse and cruelty, I eventually had to take the law into my own hands because the police had quite obviously washed theirs of it.

Time and experience teaches us much and what we learn, we use it to our own advantage...:)

And that's all I have to say on that matter.;)

I just don't understand our laws, cruelty should be treated the same, a life is a life human or animal they should be no difference.

I just can't understand the mentality that would make someone do such a thing. Makes my blood boil!

    I agree with this 100%

The way some people treat animals and then be allowed to get away with it is truly awful.

Oh man........ how could they do that to the poor puppy...

Most of the police doesn't prioritize animal abuse cases at all, and only prosecute when all the evidence and details are handed to them in a nice envelope. Even for those who care less about animals, if someone can do this to animals, they are likely able to do this to people as well.
