    i was thinking about this yesterday....do they have a surname??
    you always hear of them as Queen Elizebeth, Princes/princess' etc....
    anyone know?

    also what is the difference between a cream and an ointment??

    i have always assumed they are windsors:confused: also i think ointment is thicker than cream :eek:

    well if 2 of you say Windsor then it must be Windsor lol
    its not important, it just really baffled me when i thought about it

    haha ive just found this one myself. Cream is water based, Ointment is oil based :D

    hold on, Prince Harry is actually called Henry!! Why the hell isnt he Prince Henry? lol

    wow this family is confusing!

    It's Battenburg...they're all Krauts..they only changed their name during the first world war to Mountbatten because we had a bit of aggro with the Germans....Later they dreamed up Windsor because it sounded nice and English.

    There's more English blood in the French than there is in this lot.

    Thats one of the reasons i couldnt give a toss about the wedding also why should we have royals in england that aint soddin english? waste of time and money:D

    And if changing your long germanic name to Windsor wasn't confusing enough, William and Henry a.k.a. Harry generally use the surname Wales :confused:

    You know you're right posh or famous when you can get away with peeps just knowing you by your first name ;)

    I am sorry but this has me chuckle, I have these moments all the time and I also like you voice them:D..

    isn't ointment like germaline and savalon a cream is like hand cream face cream ect ect.

    i found out a cream is water based, and an ointment is oil based. i was wondering coz i was using Fucidin H cream on my eczema instead of seeing a dr coz theres lots of different types of ezcema and apparently i need an ointment not cream lol

    yes charlie uses an oil base one. a Fh was pants.

    British royal family changed their last name from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor in 1917. The reason? World War One broke out in 1914 and anit-German sentiment was at its height in 1917. In protest, King George V renounced all the German titles belonging to him and his family and adopted the name of his castle, Windsor.
