Thanks for your constructive post there...just thought the people who wanted to appreciate it might not want to have another thread spoilt by trolls after the other one got closed...

I do have to say i see alot of stuff about how we have lost our National Identity and we can't fly our flag anymore etc yet i was really disappointed at the lack of flags etc round our way when given such a good opportunity.

As i have said before there is no reason why we shouldn't fly our flags and we are given opportunities to wave them and revel in the pomp and ceremony that is quintisentially (sp??) British and if we ever lose our National Identity it will be because of our own apathy and moaning NOT because someone is telling us we can't have one ;) THAT is why these ceremonies are important (whatever you think of the Royals) It's what makes us BRITISH and noone does that sort of ceremony quite like we do ;)

I LOVE hearing Jerusalem, makes me very proud to be British :)

We have been to the Flying Proms at Duxford a couple of times and i love the atmosphere there, can't beat waving your flags to a big orchestra playing the Dambusters theme while the best of British fly above ;)

It must have come from Duxford as It came over my house :D

We rushed out the back but it was out the front but was really low apparently, It flew over my Mums too and my Dad saw it.

We had a lovely day. Not particularly royalist but thought the wedding was fantastic and they seem genuinely in love and happy together :D the lancaster was brilliant :) Jerusalem was my nan's favourite, it sends shivers down my spine :) xxx
