from one of our upstairs windows

and from my kitchen (sorry for the blinds)

our new heating system is being done. well i say that this is just simply drilling the bloody holes! a grant was given so now our housing association has decided to update the heating system of the 12 house in our close. currently we all have a chimney although we are now the only ones left with it working as the condition for the system was they block our chimney unless we installed a wood burner (which we have done) and we all have over night storage heaters which are as helpful as a chocolate teapot, they cost a fortune and by late afternoon they're usually out of heat.

anyway the new system is ground sourced, they drill a 90ft hole (takes them 3 days per house) drop a cylinder of gel into the hole, connected up to pipes. once they've done all the holes they come back round and install all new radiators and remove our hot water tank and install one outside (this could be entertaining) its meant to be loads better and save everyone a load of money on heating, i cant wait to have a warm house!
trouble is the drilling machine sounds like a HGV engine but 10 times louder, i'm going spare with the noise and they're not even doing my hole yet! :sosp:

although the 2 lads doing the work are a lovely bit of eye candy :ihih:

Good luck with the noise and mess, it'll be worth it in the end :)

There are other men on here too! I`m considering getting into shape for this night of humiliation... I`d like to look good against the others! My arms aren`t as thick because I wont do gym candy (steroids). Not that they all do.... Who knows I might even pull if I do well! lol.
