Would be a bit hard on Ted wouldn't it, with another dog?
I thought he might miss her, they seemed so close

    (((hugs)))

Ted will be picking up on how you are feeling hun.
Hard as it seems the best way to make Ted feel better, is to act completely normal around him. He will obviously be missing having Millie around and needs some extra love and attention.
Hope you both start to feel better, my thoughts are with you xxx

Button was very subdued and quiet when we first lost Wiliam. She also started chewing at herself. She had the other dogs with her but had never really had anything to do with them. I took her 4/5 weeks to return to normal.

We gave her extra fuss and attention or rather OH did I found myself pushing her away for some reason it was as if I was blaming her for the fact we had lost William. For a few days I just didn't want her near me.

I can only tell you the advise I was given over her. That was to let her grieve then when she's over it then think about another dog. Not that I'll be having another greyhound.

Thinking of you at this time.

It is such a shame when they are so close, they pine for each other don't they. I hope you are feeling a bit better and hope it all works out ok with Ted. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
