This is a big thank you to my dogs ........

I was upstairs yesterday hoovering and tidying, my three year old was in his bedroom playing and the two dogs were at the top of the stairs snoozing. All of a sudden all hell broke loose, the dogs went mad, but there was a different tone to their bark which really alarmed me so I shot down the stairs to find my front door wide open. I looked outside but couldnt see anything or anyone untoward. Thankfully nothing was taken, (my laptop, purse and phone were all on the table) ..... and I do think that is because of the quick reaction of my dogs and their menacing bark :D:D:D:D

I did report this incident to the non emergency police line 101 just so they are aware in case there is a 'chancer' doing the rounds !!!

Well done guys, bet you are soooo proud of them. I hope treats were the order of the night ;)

I must admit I always keep my outside door locked even when I'm in and with 2 dogs - you never know.

O yes lots of treat sand praise.

To be fair I normally do put the chain across the door when I am in, but for whatever reason on this occasion I hadn't put it across :(

We were nearly broken into and would've been too, had Dante not saved us from his barking. my sister awoke to hear his unusual barking and saw someone in our back garden, and called the police. If it wasnt for Dante god knows what may have happened. But now we dont have our hero anymore :-(
