Hi! I have a short fur who is roughly 5-6 years old and recently me and my husband took in a stray cat who was pregnant (we knew this) in October she gave birth to two kittens, one stillborn. We have been raising mama and kitten in our separate room and slowly trying to introduce mama to our cat. No matter HOW much we slow introduce, feeding on either side of the door, aroma relaxers, and scent sharing, my cat is so territorial and the mama (I’m assuming) is protective over her 8 week old baby. I’m not sure what to do, has anyone else had this problem?
