Well, it's day 4 and Tarot seems to be settling in very well indeed. He's a very confident little chap and we need eyes in our @rses because he is into everything - and I mean everything! We're having to take puppy proofing the house to a new level because he's finding things that none of the other pups have even thought about - for example, the water dish in the kitchen is now on the floor instead of on a waterproof mat, because he found out how much fun it was to grab the mat, pull it, spill the water all over the floor, and then paddle in it. :biggrin5: I've had to take the velvet runner off the table because he could just reach it and pull it - and I had visions of the hefty staue that's on there (and at least twice as big as him) falling on top of him. :w00t: Heh heh - we're now at that stage that I'm sure those of you with pups (and kids, for that matter) will recognise - the, "Oh God, it's quiet, what's he doing now!" stage. :p

The first night wasn't a fluke - after an initial bit of whining that, "You can't be leaving me on my own in this cage! You're cruel! Get me the RSPCA!", he settles down and sleeps until about 5.30 to 6 -ish, when the need to wee and poo wakes him - but he doesn't soil his crate, he starts to cry and wakes us up. We can already tell the difference between his "trying to get his own way" criies and his "I really have a problem" cries, so a quick trip downstairs to the garden and then he's happy to settle back down for another hour or so.

He loves being out oin the garden, but Calli worries about him and keeps a close eye on him all the time:

He loves cuddels, either with humans

    And Xia is his BFF

No prizes for guessing that we are all absolutely besotted with him

Wow it's hard to believe that something that small will become so hairy:)

I'm loving every minute of it! I'm on holiday this week to be with him, and I could really get used to this not working lark - ooh, that reminds me - I've not checked last night's lottery. I could be rich!

He is so beautiful! Mabel is 5 months old now and we are still very much at the "it's gone quiet... what has she done?!" stage :yikes:

Looking forward to seeing him progress further :D

Yes, he's the same breed as the two he is curling up with :D I although it does seem strange that he could ever look like them, I agree! I plan to do a "coat" thread to show everyone the stages it goes through - although it will be a sort of non-event to begin with because nothing happens until around 9 months. I'll take some close ups of his coat when he's a little bit older and then ressurect the thread in around 9 months' time when the maps start to develop.
