With the weather being so hot right now, my bettas tank is sitting around 28°C, and he is acting lethargic and isn't appearing interested in food (normally he will swim up to greet me but hes just hiding under his plants.).
I've tested the water, just in case, and Ammonia is between 0-0.25ppm, Nitrite is 0ppm and Nitrate is around 5ppm.
Are there any methods that will safely lower the water temperature back to safe levels? I've read floating a bag of ice can help but im not sure how accurate it can be.
Ive taken the lid off his tank to try and help heat evaporate.
I'd really appreciate any advice!
