This is their tank and Tom Thumb is so tame, comes out on my hand every time I put it in. Tiny Tim isn't quite as bold

What nice people there are on this forum who love their pets, I wish all animals could be treated so well.

Is it even legal to be that cute? I know hardly anything about harvest mice, are they similar to fancy mice to keep and are they handleable?

I have only had them about a week. They are just over an inch long and Tom Thumb is so so tame. Him and Tiny Tim come and see me every time I open the front but Tom sits on my hand and washes himself and licks my fingers. They DO NOT smell and are soooooooo cute. They are just kept in pairs as they fight when they get older I am told, as orginally I had 6. Goodness knows how often you have to clean them, not very often, just make sure that the hay isnice and fresh everyday.
