suitable weight for a ragdoll

    male, neutered. He doesn't live with me anymore but lives with my mum. I am concerned as he is a housecat that he is getting a little chubby, he always has food left out to him all day long... he is greedy and weighs 6kg. I am going to worm him today, as mum says he has the runs a little, although she can't understand how he got worms being indoors, but it happens anyway :lol:

    I just wondered if this is too large, as the vet is vague, due to not really knowing much about the breed itself. Yes they are largish cats, but they are not as big as MC's and I worry about the strain on his heart.
