Sorry I had to grab my camera very quickly so there is shoddy light & it doesn't have a mic for sound but watch his jaw go!!!

I have never seen a cat/kitten do this before! He sounds like he is talking when he does it but whilst chattering his teeth. He's doing it because there was a glimmer he was following from the light reflecting on a CD case I was playing with.

I couldn't hear it (my laptop can be so tempremental sometimes!!) but going by watching it and what you have said......

LOL!!! My cats (except my boy) do this!! It is when they are after something to!! Normally on the window sill and see a bird on the grass, or if there is a fly or flying insect that they can't reach!!
Its so funny to see them do it!!

Sorry, there's no sound, my camera is pretty rubbish & has no mic.

He's my sixth cat & I have never witnessed this before. Sooooo weird.

Lol, it looks like it's been sped up!

I have heard the chattering you are talking about from cats who have seen a bird or something (same as above!) they want to get but can't get to.

my british cream boy does this when he see's a bird or a butterfly.
He makes such a noise. Also he wears a collar with a bell attached so he never catches anything!!:D

My parents' cat used to do the same chattering every time he was inside watching out of the window when a bird flew by... Funny and weird! :D
