    We get these fly over our house occasionally, and I just managed to catch this one earlier this morning having a few minutes rest then he flew off on his travels. Not a very good photo as he was in the back garden of the house opposite so its on max zoom and through the window.

    That looks like a heron to me. Difficult to see the colour of the legs though.

    @wind1 , ha ha! That's what I meant to say, HERON, duh! Senior moment. Never seen a stork in England. :rolleyes: Unfortunately I can't change the heading.

    There is a heron that regularly visits the pond in the town where I live. I've yet to get a photo of it. The other day I drove past and it was sitting very close to the edge of the pond by the road. Had I been walking I could have got a great shot of it, mind you had I been walking it probably would have flown off.

    I swear I saw a Stork here a year or so ago, I was amazed by it!

    Apparently they are actually in Norfolk, so possible it was one.
