Thought this was really funny :D

The daughter sounds very 'princess' like, maybe the parents made a rod for their own backs.

I can understand a parent getting to this point. Wonder if she still has a cell phone? We all seem so dependant on them now

I think we are to, mine anyway have been given to much freedom as far as technology/material crap and not enough chores, not without an attitude in return, so my son now will have to do his chores for free :p If he wants money he has to do something other then helping me out around the house :w00t: I dont have a gun.. but I have an axe :D :D ;)

Well, daddy's sure got a point, there.....
Daughter is being given everything she needs, doesn't have a job to pay for her luxuries, that's up to daddy, and she feels too good to make her own bed and clean up her own ****.

I got a saturday job when I was 15, I paid for my own trendy clothes, saved for my own holidays and for my own moped. We didn't have computers or cellphones back then, but I did save up for my own stereo. And whatever I didn't pay for, myself, were birthday presents or christmas presents.
And as soon as I was old enough to be allowed to work late shifts at McDonalds, I did, because the pay was better. It did mean I could not go out with my friends on a saturday evening, because I'd be working, but I could catch up with them after work, and I could pay for my own drinks and the petrol for my own moped with my own money, I didn't need to beg for cash with my parents.

I think kids nowadays don't learn the value of money, because they seem to get everything they claim they 'need' but which are, in fact, luxuries...
It is a very good thing to realize how long you have to work in order to be able to buy an Ipod, a laptop, and Ipad, a HiFi, a moped, a bling bling handbag, a holiday...... And to realize their parents have to work just as hard to get them the things they need. The money doesn't come falling from the skies, someone has to work to earn it, and at least some respect for that effort is in order, I think

I'm going to show that video to my own children, maybe they'll realise how lucky they are with just having their stuff confiscated rather than shot at:D

Advice to all parents - don't ever destroy the kids laptops, mobile phones etc!!!
That is a total waste just sell them instead, might as well make a few quid :D:D:

Oh, I mean sell the stuff not the kids :nono:
