Hiya - Our names are BAL and Yama...We have both had the operation and wanted to share some advice to others.

OK - first rule Make your human feel really guilty!!! On the return from the vets look sad and miserable however much you want to greet them. Play it for all its worth. Remember you need monitoring and the best place is on your humans bed (in the middle) stretch out - its too difficult for them to move you with that awful wound that they inflicted upon you.

You need light meals Chicken breast fed by hand 3-4 times a day should do it.

Remember the vet said light exercise so dont get caught running around these vets talk utter crap but if you are seen chasing the cat or running around madly scream loudly and express huge pain - Dont give up till the chicken breast comes out...

İf you think the sympathy or guilt is waning nibble at the stitches........Keep on untill the chicken breat comes out...........

Remember your a slow healer - so keep up regular signs of pain

THE GOLDEN RULE İS CHİCKEN BREST FED BY HAND AT REGULAR İNTERVALS WİLL MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER FOR A SHORT WHİLE::::::::GOOD LUCK GİRLZ:thumbup::thumbup:

Brilliant - think we've all been there.

Heidi reckons you forgot we need to be coaxed to drink our water with the dish offered to us on our bed at regular intervals so that we can refuse at least every other time. It's also v important that you carry us out into the garden for toilet feeling our pain each time. Yogurt and cottage cheese should also to added to our menu to help our tums cope with the constant tablets that need to eaten with copious amounts of cheese.

Most importantly the vet needs to know that after 10 days of not touching "that" area, it's most important to get permission before attempting to remove the stitches. I will never forget the appalled look on Heidi's face when the nurse touched her wound
