hi i walked both my dogs yesterday. my jack russel was into everything as usual. but this morn i noticed he had very sore runny eyes and kept closing them. it's really strange because he was fine yesterday unless it's a reaction to something. anyone have any ideas?:(

The could be slightly irritated if he's had his face into all sorts.

Boil some water and let it cool, then dampen some cotton wool and wipe his eyes. Check under his lids for grass seeds, as they get everywhere.

If it doesnt improve, or goes really gunky, and sometimes gree, pop him to the vets as he may have an infection.

There is an eye ointment (brolene) that you can get from a chemist. Its safe for dogs.
