A good friend of mine is always talking about her lifelong friend (that I have never met) who has an Irish Wolfhound and an Italian Spinone. They are the two breeds that I have always wanted but never felt I could cope with. I heard last night that she is waiting for a new Spinone pup, litter due very soon. I am just soooooooo jealous.
What dog would you dearly love to have but just haven't taken the plunge?

Will you get to visit and have puppy cuddles?
You could be puppy aunty :D

    I'd love a Maltese :)
And a Leonberger - however I'm not in a position to own a big dog so I'll stick to hopefully having a Maltese one day :D

Well there is talk of me going to meet with this lady for the first time next saturday, there is also talk that she will be willing to let Mia run wild in her fully secure acre of grounds, which would be wonderful. We need to see how Mia gets on with her two first though.

I just know that I would fall in love with the Spinone pup, maybe being an auntie to would cure my cravings

Don't mention Leos........they are so beautiful but beyond even the dreaming stage.

Wolfhound, fabulous looking dog, love it's nature too. I wouldn't because of their pitifully short lifespan, so when I get to choose my dog I guess I'll go for a nice scruffy lurcher to satisfy my wolfy cravings.

The man who came last week to photograph Molly bought 3 of his 4 Wolfhounds with him, they were stunning-2 of them were 8 years old. I couldn't take my hands off them. Should have seen the size of the water bottle I filled up for him:D

8 years old...good age, maybe I'll start to rethink...
I'm a serial pesterer of wolfhounds, can't keep my hands off them either. It's a testament to their all round wonderfulness that they tolerate this without losing any dignity :D

I LOVE the bernese but I think they are a bit big for me and the life span worries me :(
