New year rubbish are you planning to give up?

    Mine will be...AS ALWAYS.

    A) To diet....hmmm ..can do it.....(just stop selling food + simples)
    B) To go to the gymn (yeah right ) last time i was in a gymn was when i was 15 at school....even then i had a note to exclude me ;) Maybe i should knock that off the list.....if it hasn't happened in all these years i guess, it never will
    C) Give up smoking.....filthy disgusting habit (which i happen to like)
    D) Give up drinking .... as above

Think maybe i should change my new year resolutions....as they seem not to be working...for the last **cough** few years

My NY resolution is the same as it always is- to not make any NY resolutions
It's the only one I'd be guaranteed to stick to:D

I don't believe in the whole diets, giving up vices... I'm fat and drink too much and cook with WAY too much butter.... Long may that continue ;)

However I pledge to the following:

    1. to live more sustainably, buying less, growing more.
    2. To be the best Auntie I possibly can be to my gorgeous 14 month old nephew, he is my world.
    3. To put less pressure on myself, accepting I am not wonder woman and I can't do everything.
    4. Linked to above, to have more "me" time to read, relax and reflect.
    5. To toughen up, and not allow people's actions to hurt me. I will accept that my REAL friends know me and love me for who I am, and if people constantly hurt me they are not my real friends and are not worth having in my life.

I gave up smoking last year after 30 odd years, I think that was such an achievement it'll carry over ;)
Do need to exercise upper body though, legs get 10 miles a day but arms don't do much :D

So by sticking to it, in effect you are failing it..... Bummer! but love the sentiment :thumbup1:

-Do something with my photography skills.
-Get out at least once a day to work with my dog.
-Study the Behaviour of dogs so that I can understand why my dog does what she does.
    -Meet more dog-y people! :thumbup1:

I can't really add "do more exercise" to my list. I'm buff. ;) Then again...I exercise quite a lot, anyway. No gym for me. :cornut:

That's easy, just learn to walk on your hands instead, if you do alternate days (one on feet, one on hands) you'll have an equally fit upper & lower body in no time:D

    My resolutions for 2012 are:

    1. To tell the people I love that I love them, much more often.

    2. To tell the people who really p!ss me off to b*gger off and annoy someone else in 2012 as I had to put up with them all through 2011!!!

Have you thought about, or tried, the extending walking sticks when out walking as this would then be similar to Nordic Walking which is very good as an all over work out. :) Especially good going up hills.... :)

A bit awkward when you are a dog walker and have to get leads onto two dogs or picking up poo while handling two walking poles :D

Best of luck you sweetheart x
To try and be more out going and not such a hermit all the time.
Be who you are...no rules in this life...you may view others are more out going than you...means nothing. If you are happy with 'being' you...then why change.
    P.S i love being a hermit ;)
Concentrate on your studies, time for going out will come( if thats what you want) will come in own time .....and if not, trust me, you are missing nowt xx
