Hi all. Can anyone suggest a solution to potential bone fragments stuck in my dogs throat? It's making him wrench and produce phlegm and sometimes makes him vomit. It's been happening on and off for several days now. Many thanks. I'm new to this forum. Hope I posted in correct place.

Sounds like your dog needs to see a vet.

Sounds like a trip to the vet is needed to get whatever is lodged in there out.
Your dog is obviously uncomfortable if not in pain and must be distressed that they cannot shift whatever it is.

Have you been to the vets?

This could also be kennel cough, so make sure you tell them before you go

Your dog needs to see a Vet.

If he does have bone in his throat and he's retching to try and move it, the area could become inflamed and make it difficult for him to breathe.

I wouldn't leave it any longer.

Get to the vets, you should have gone to the vets several days ago by the sounds of it.

I'm sorry but there's no way to sort that without veterinary intervention.
The minute you suspected bone fragments in his throat he should have been in the vets asap as this could cause lasting damage and interfere with his breathing. Fingers crossed for you.

Was thinking the same - but hope OP has been to the vet to get checked either way.

If it is this the only solution is for a vet to remove them, they could be out of sight somewhere stuck in the back of the throat or further down, He could have lesions and infection set in and all sorts of issues if they are not removed. You need to make an appointment asap.
