There's been loads about hasn't there?
I counted 21 on one walk last week and a couple of days later I lost count at about 30
Not round here
There was 5 on this bush but could only get 3 in shot

Saw a couple of whites too but they didn't stop to pose. All these were from last week. Saw 5 Red Admirals today
I've seen quite a few, is it usual for them to still be about at this time of year?
Honestly, it depends on the weather and food source. Where I saw loads they had masses of mature flowering Ivy.
It's believed that Red Admirals are now resident in the UK over winter in a dormant state
