I was expecting an icing sugar dusting of snow this morning but we have a real covering of 1.5 - 2 inches! And it's still coming down in big, fluffy flakes.

Our two 11 year olds have seen it all before and are not keen. They become very cross if it lasts for more than a day or so. We think our new younger than 2 year old cat has probably never seen snow before. He's a very long haired fluffy cat, he seems to like the cold, and has zoomed off down the garden a few times to check it out.

What do your cats make of snow?

It was snowing quite heavily when I got up to feed the boys earlier, but now it’s almost all gone. They don’t go outside but I did wonder what they thought about it from looking out the window, but they didn’t seem to show any interest!

Lottie loves snow, she jumps around trying to catch each flake.

Must admit I only like snow on Christmas cards, it’s horrible stuff.
The only good thing about it is, I can spot Lottie a mile away :D

I used to love it when I was little but not so much now. My husband was off out for a walk in his wellies as soon as it was light! It's fine if you don't have to go anywhere and can stay cosy indoors.

Aww, no, Jack and Biggles. Do you think you would enjoy it if you could get out in it? Mine tell me it's very cold and wet under-paw.

I wasn't quick enough to catch them today but I think i have some snow pics from the Beast from the East I'll try to find.

The Norwegians were less than impressed, came in and snuggled up by the radiator giving the snow dirty looks. I think it was too wet snow for them, as when we had the heavy snow 3 years ago they out playing in it.

I would love snow, especially as I'm under no obligation to go out in it for a couple of weeks! The Pumpkins loved what little snow they have seen, so I'd love them to have a huge fluffy white out to play in.

Did you see the thread in general chat? My car proofing was very stressed!
