I Hope you don't mind me asking
I used to and I have given up , my last ciggy was on the 31st of December and I haven't touched one since , and I have done it on will power alone I'm right proud of myself.
I'm trying to diet to which is proving hard especially after stopping the fags.
But I've done well on that too,I've lost 7llb in 2 weeks
I have no problems with people smoking around me , I don't look to have one,
I've had no surport in giving up so I surpose I was looking for some hint hint :p

I am ashamed to admit I smoke, I wish I didn't as it really stinks. Well done on stopping. I have stopped for up to six months at a time, just wish I could kick it completely!

I used to smoke - I gave up three years ago on the 13th March:) I only used to smoke about 10 a day but gave up to help my Mum stop cos she developed Emphysema:( Trouble is I've stopped completely and she still has the odd one:mad:

Keep going - every bed time give yourself a pat on the back - thats another day gone smoke free;)

I stopped smoking 2 years ago as a New Years Resolution, but I also read Alan Carr's book - The Easy Way, and I can say it really did help. I have tried giving up before and always ended up back on them a few months later, but the book seems to almost brain wash you into thinking a different way towards it.

Keep it up.....you are doing so well

Well done bordercolliepup - and losing weight as well :)

Luckily none of my family smoke. I love it that there is no smoking now in public places because I don't come home smelling of smoke now:)

Well done BCP...good for you. I smoke and have done for many years:rolleyes: I have tried giving up and managed 7 month once...till my step son made his first attempt to try to kill himself in my garage:( straight back on them....I have tried several times since but with no real success...one day I will get there though I'm sure.

Keep up the will power...you should be really proud of yourself!
