So my beautiful Woody is 6 months old, I noticed yesterday he has small bumps on the top of his head they're not red, not itchy, don't seem to be bothering him at all but just there. Today (Thursday) he seems to have a few more down his legs and on his body again not itchy, not bothering him.

Any ideas what these could be??

He's a short haired German pointer x Hungarian Viszla so you can see them, there's no puss and the ones on his head I would say are dry.
I've bathed him today to see if that would help but no change.

    Not always.

My dog got bad hives last year and didnt itch at all.

The only time he does is if they are caused by nettles.

How long did they stay for?

I noticed these on Wednesday, they haven't increased/decreased in size or number and are still there this morning.

Is there anything I could try see if they go away if it is hives?

A while tbh. Although i assume the fact he was coming into contact with what was causing them daily (pretty sure it was long and seeding grass) played a part in that.

Neds went dry and scabby, and eventually came off leaving lots of tiny bald spots.

No idea what you can do. As they didnt bother my dog, i did nothing.

I'll maybe give it a few days see if they go down or go at all, ill try and take a photo when I get home and post it on the thread see if they look similar.

Think i'm just a bit of a worrier with him being so young still, I suppose he's being exposed to lots of new things for the first time so he's bound to react to something at some point.

    Thank you!
