Slow worm

    Nearly trod on a slow worm this afternoon out in the sun :)
    Unfortunately I didn't have the camera with me :(

    Are slow worms protected now? Ive a feeling I remember something saying they were.

    Im glad you didnt have your camera with you..or I would have had to see it :eek:hmy: I really dont like them :scared:

    Also, just for my own interest - what terrain do you have? Do you have a rockery? Are there many outdoor cats close to you?

    I saw it on one of my walks, we have various terrains here within a very small area being that we are close to the North Downs.
    This one was at the canal though which is clay soil :)
    I will report my sighting :)
