For those of you who have had your dog's from puppies, how old were they when they slept through the night?

We have had Alfie for 5 weeks and he has slept through from day 1... other pups we have had have taken a little longer.

So where do you find all these angelic puppies?? :D And what would you classify as through the night? 12pm-8am without needing to go outside and not wetting in the crate/bed?

As we don't go to bed very early Meg use to go to bed at around Midnight and went through until 6 am no problems at all, she was a little angel

I think you were all very lucky.
I took both mine out for a wee in the night for several weeks - I think Zipper was about 14 weeks and Lilly 16 weeks before they could hold all night

We've had Sadie since 8 Weeks. Shes now 11 Weeks. It took her a week to get hang of things. Now she sleeps from 11pm (when we go to bed) until 7-8am. But we're usually up earlier in the week.
Thing is when she hears us walking around upstair, thats it - we're being summond with wimpering etc.

We got Ted when he was 12 weeks old, he is now almost 20 and we are still having problems...

Some night he will sleep through but more often than not will cry at 4am ish - not good.

Life would have been much easier if he sleep through in the first week as so many people seem to have experienced

We got Sammy at 8 weeks but he didn't sleep right thru the night (with no accidents) until about 11 weeks!
