Sky not working

    Have you tried going outside and cleaning the snow off your sky dish, or switching off the sky box for a minute and switching it back on?

    I just lost signal`about 15 mins ago too, its like a blizzard out there at the moment thankfully i have a laptop and can watch the end of casualty on bbciplayer instead ;)

    Mine stopped working earlier but we turned it off at the mains for 5 mins and now its working again.

    my parents havent got it downstairs yet mine works upstairs howwww weird .. im watching the lovely becks now :D

    I hung out the window with a broom and brushed the snow off the dish!!
    Turned it off at the mains a zillion times....................... boo hoo!

    Well for once, I didnt lose my signal :p It normally goes about 10ish (spanish time) ... so the snow in the UK, must of boosted my signal... infact its only just gone now.. 2 hours later than normal, so I got to watch Beckham and have a drool... that man gets better with age...

    it isn`t just a matter of knocking the snow off the dish sometimes , it`s thawing it completely from the dish , luke warm kettle works wonders when hanging out ya bedroom window:D i should know just flaming done it:D :rolleyes: :mad:
