Surely it would track just as bad? I use wood pellets for my ferrets and it turns to sawdust when wet, surely the cats would track it out just as much as they do other litters?

No it doesn’t track because these trays separate the sawdust as it drops through to the base tray
There is a gap between the 2 trays and when they wee on the pellets it breaks down when they get out
All you do is stir or shake the tray twice a day and all the sawdust drops through to the base tray ... leaving clean dry pellets in the top sieve tray
Empty the base tray after 2 or 3 days as it fills up with sawdust
    So easy ......
YOU DONT HAVE THE SAWDUST SITTING IN THE SIEVE TRAY

I'm guessing you remove the solid, shake the sieve part, and the wet (sawdust) goes thro' to the base. You would then be left with dry pellets - or that's the idea.

Yes that is correct ... except the sawdust that goes through is mostly dry as it’s not all sitting in the tray together ..... when you use in a normal basic tray the rest of the litter becomes affected as it’s got no where else to go
    Win win
    So easy

I gave one a go, I am really pleased with it. Almost no smell, very little tracking and the rascals seem to like it. I am now going to get another so @Britpet does the discount still stand please?

I use a Britpet for my fosters ( sadly my own brood are not keen) and can confirm that all the claims above are true.

Have you tried it by sprinkling some of their preferred litter on top
Although if there is a choice of litter abd trays available they will go back to what they know
Pleased the fosters are happy though x
