Hi all I am starting to think about the supreme this year.

I want to have a go at making my own drapes. Has anyone done this?

    Do you line them?

What sizes are they at the supreme I belive they are double pens?

    Any advice?

I've made my own. Maybe not up to professional standards but they did OK

Its quite easy, just hemmed rectangles, with curtain header tape.

I don't line mine, the silky stuff is a heavy one. I bought all the material from ebay at a fraction of the price I used to pay in John Lewis. Pens are 2 ft x 4 ft double pens. Its much more fun making your own.

    Hi,

Try this link. I have had all my drapes off this lady and they are reasonably priced and far nicer than any I have seen anywhere else. She will make them to your own specification. If you tell her the colour of your cat she will suggest what will go best with the cat or she may even have a set available already in what colours you like.

Wow just looked at the link and was amazed!

I am not actually 'into' showing ... yet ... but will certainly be ordering some of the lovely blankets that she makes and cat carrier quilts.
