Ok some of you will know me an oh are trying for a baby.
I can't guite make my mind up if I feel any different this month apart from the fact I don't really like coke anymore and I keep getting indigestion/heart burn.

Anyway, we are going out on saturday for oh birthday, which will be 4 days before my period is due.. but we are going out drinking after the meal so I don't want to get drunk incase I am!
Do you think if I am it will show up 4 days early? what test should i get?

Well, I won't be much help coz I don't have any kids myself & I'm no expert in these things, but as far as I know, there's a digital test that you can get that can tell you up to a week before your period is due & as far as I know it will even tell you how far along you are. Sorry I can't be of more help, but as I said, I'm not experienced in these matters! lol Good luck anyway & let us know how you get on.....;)

Clear blue are supposed to be good, although I haven't tried them! My best mate is 5 months pregnant with her second baby, and she used one days before she was due and she found out that she was gonna be a mum again, cos i remember the panic!!!! lol

Get a First Response test. They are really good and have shown up with my 2 boys about 3/4 days before I was due. Will keep everything crossed for you.

Get clear blue or first response and they might be able to tell you but it mightn't be very accurate. I hope its positive.

Also, not to be rude but how are your boobies?! They were the first clue this time round, they felt more solid and a bit sore!

    Fingers crossed xxx

Clearblue is probably the best if you're going to test, I'd personally wait until my period was due lol
And don't drink any alcohol whatsoever, even if you get a negative it might be a false!

Thanks. It will probably be negative but I want to make sure before I go out drinking!

Saying that, my son survived a heavy drinking session! I worked out that I fell pregnant on 10 oct, and went out and got completely p1ssed at the end of the month on our haloween night out. When I say p1ssed, I mean I couldn't walk straight, could hardly stand straight, I almost got refused at the bar, it was the drunkest I ever was until then! Lol

But I wouldn't want to chance it I had a misscariage last march, was only gone 3 weeks but it hurt like hell.

    xx

Good luck with the test! When I first got pregnant I had terrible indigestion and went off certain foods almost from the start, fingers crossed for you both!
