The weather has really turned sharp this last week - beautiful sunny, frosty mornings, and a real chill at night. Shorty has had a good couple of weeks, nice and stable and regained his usual naughty glint in his eye :) But very attached to the fire of an evening.

Here we can see my high energy working bred dog completely unable to adjust to life in a pet home :p

Shorty knows the best place to be, don't blame him. The others look quite comfy as well

Thanks :) We've put a lot of work into renovation, and cosy comfy was just what we were aiming for.

More bodies = more warmth, I like their thinking :D

How cozy does that look, pour another glass of wine I am on my way round :D

My cats aren't bothered about the fire but my dog sits right in front of it shivering and looks round so pitiful until we turn it on. We only turn the fire effect on as the central heating is on constantly, so no he isn't cold but he likes to see a fire then he will settle down for a snooze.

Fly loves the fire too! After a bracing walk on Hampstead Heath this afternoon.

Alfie does too - he stands by it staring at us until we give in and switch it on.

And now Scout has taken Fly's place! (Think Fly got too hot and vacated, rather than Scout pushing her out.)
