Did any 1 see them last night theres more tonight after 9 oclock
I see one last night it was wicked
can u see them from anywhere?
Oh I didn't know there was supposed to be any lastnight, it was clear here too.
It's cloudy tonight!
I dont know if the sky is clear enough you shuld be able to see them they say the best place is Wicken Fen in Ely Cambs,
It was a meteor shower
And nope, didn't know it was going to happen. It's supposed to happen tonight so if you have clear skies go out!
I was stood out in the garden with a vodka and coke in my hand looking up at the sky but didn't see anything last night. It is meant to reach it's peak tonight though so I'll be out there (after the footie that is)
Typically english we have an overcast sky it has been all day lol  and there's only one star im interested in pmsl :001_tt2: .
It would be good to see it tho lol, i did see the eclipse years ago when it happened hehe good excuse for an hour out of work hehe boss soon had us back in tho lol
ill have a looksie night
Won't be able to see any on Jersey tonight. Extremely low cloud. Problem is, above it is bright blue sky! Well, when I was flying it was so I presume it's really the same. Bugger it, and last night apparently was fantastic and clear...
I might have a look out tonight.... my OH is coming round soon and he's into spacey sciency things so I might ask him if he fancies driving out somewhere in the countryside to have a look, because I read on the internet its better to go out into the country where there isn't the glare of lights from towns which can make the meteors less visible
I like things like this
Knowing me ill see a satalite and run in screaming "Ive Seen one!!!! "
Lol Or i wont even see anything rrr: rrr:
pmsl i have actually seen the lights on the 5 legs of the satellite pmsl, i thought they were u f o's at first but then saw a photo in a magazine and knew what it was hehe  it was quite cool seeing that.
Lol, were you drunk? Lmao
No way! too cloudy here!
Yeay I seen some!
It was cloudy, but I could see some stars thru th clouds and saw some shooting across. Then all the light clouds started to bugger off and I seen some really cool
Lucky you, havent seen any!
Awwh no if my camera was any good I would send u a video.
The last time (that I can remember!) I saw shooting stars, was in 2002, when I was in morocco. We were camping on a mountain and lying around the camp fire we saw loads and loads of them, it was really cool! They seemed so close and clear!
ooops i jst started a new thread about this, shud open my eyes more lol
i havnt seen any, man on the news said coz im in the northeast i shud see them. pah i reckon he was lyin ha ha
we usually get a good view as theres low light polution being in the country, but low cloud the past few nights meant we could see nothing
Hopefully it'll be clearer for the Leonid meteor showers in Novermeber/December, past few years we've been lucky & had a reall good viwe for that one
I wanted to go out and look for them but I didn't want to disturb the hedgehog
