shes started limping

    Hi my dog (staffie) has started limping for no reason. Any help.

    check for the obviouse ,anything in her pad , stuck between its toes ect .does she pull away when you touch a particular part of the paw or leg . has she broke a toe nail or split it , or is it the leg itself .

    she had an injection on tuesday at 4.30 . She started being sick on wed morn about 6.30 and then started limping about 7 am.Shas stoped being sick but is still limping.

    was the injection for a leg related injury or is it a seperate occurance . why didnt you contact the vet about the sickness and limp its now friday eve ???

    shes a rescue dog. we are taking her for training so we had to have her injections don again cause we dont know if shes had them.So if I sound like Im an uncaring pet owner then your WRONG. susan

    I doubt the limp is related to the injection but possibly the sickness is!

    Have you checked the opposite leg as dogs sometimes limp with the uninjured leg, not sure why but they do? :)

    other leg is fine and shes stoped being sick. I think she was being sick ;););););)

    No susan i was,nt implying you were a bad dog owner at all just trying to get a picture of what was going on as your origional post was vague . And it sounded as she was still being sick and all i was pointing out was if that was the case and she was still being sick then its now fri and was wondering if maybe you should have spoken to the vet again .when you ask for help its a good idea to give a full picture of the circumstances surrounding the problem so that you can get a advice quicker without having to ask many questions , sorry to have given you the wrong impression :confused:

    she is still limping a bit. not sure what but think shes sprained her leg
