Well we've been to pick up Milly, a four year old springer spaniel. She's wee with a short face but very nice. She is very calm and keen to work already. Clearly never had much attention so better be careful not to spoil her. She has been about the garden and met Glen, think she's thinkin he's a nutter as she's never played before. She's in her kennel with food and water for a wee while then we'll go back out and see her. Plan on taking them both a walk with one on the long line and other on slip lead then swap over. Feel sorry for her as this is the 2nd different place she's stayed in 2 nights due to there being a middle man. Fingers crossed this works out for us, will post pics soon.

p.s. none of our family know yet

I know she was expensive cos she's fully trained but still some how feels like we've rescued her as I'm hoping she'll have a much happier life with us  Her teeth are a bit brown and she needs a bath but she just melts your heart with her big brown eyes. I just hope she's happy here with us and settles in to our family :)

She's really small for a springer, Glen a bit bigger than her. He's so excited about it but being gentle with her as she's a quiet wee soul. Gonna take her to register at vets on monday and give her once over.

Lovely looking little dog. Looks like she's been in the kennel a bit too much though and needs some stamina building, ready for the season

Not just walking that's for sure.
Several short but intense training sessions a day and lots of swimming if she will swim, lots of Spaniels aren't keen on water
