Hello everybody! :) I've recently been given a sheet rug, but I don't know what to do with it! When could i use a sheet rug?

Is it just a thin summer sheet, not waterproof? Generally those are used if you are showing, just to keep on the horse after it's been washed and dried and sproused up. I suppose you could use it for travelling too, although I find a sweat sheet better for that.

From what I know and follow. These lightweight rugs can be used when travelling, when in the stable on warmer evenings to keep the chill off the horse, as an anti dust sheet to help keep the horse lean before a show etc, as an under layer for other rugs.
