    Good evening everything ne!
We have a 7 months old neutered male kitten and we are planning to get another kitten soon. We just don’t know if it’s better take another male kitten or a girl one. Does it make any difference? Any advice on how to introduce the new kitten?
Thank you very much to everyone will give us any advice!

Every cat is different so it’s impossible to tell which gender would get on better with your cat especially if the female cat is spayed it shouldn’t make a difference.
On introduction advice I’d suggest not introducing them on the new kittens first day and then slowly introducing them, for the first introduction it may be beneficial to keep one of them in a carrier whilst they start to get used to each other and then see how it goes from there.

When Severus was 14 weeks old we introduced Lily who was 21 weeks old. We bought Lily in her carrier and left her in the living room for a couple of hours so they could both have a good sniff of each other and since when we let her out there was some hissing and a little growling, but they soon sorted it out and 2 years on they live quite happily together. Occasionally they even curl up together to sleep!

All my pets are named after HP characters, we are adopting a rescue puppy soon and she will be called Bellatrix, shortened to Trixie.
