My 9 yr. old bearded collie went through a horrible horrible itching phase needing to wear the cone for several months almost 24 hrs a day. Antibiotics didn't work completely so we thought: mange or allergies!
We treated her for mange even though we couldn't isolate a parasite. We used Revolution which is a 3 month course. (can't use ivermectin!!)

I was so desperate at that time that I change her dog food as well. Switched from lamb and rice (with additives) to a limited ingredient dog food of salmon and sweet potatoe.

After 3 months she seems better but not completely as she is also prone to sebaceous cysts which is now another problem.
    Any suggestions?

(I made a spray of water peroxide and borax but can't tell if it's helpful)
