    Hey

Just went into my emails as u do and found an email with a telephone number in the subject line saying call for conformation. So opened the email and it says my email addy has been selected to win money for being an internet email user. According to the person who emailed i have won £1million pounds. (i find that hard to believe) but its from the national lottery email something or other. She was congratulating me and told me to email some barrister guy with my details so that im a genuine person and not gonna take it on behalf of someone else.

Im confussed. Is it a scam or do u think there is truth in it seeing its supposedly from the national lottery.

Geez i would be over the moon if it was real heeehee.

It's a well known scam. But if you supply me with your account number, sort code and long card number I will see if I can help you get £2 million :D

  4. I think it's a scam. Firstly it wouldn't say how much it was in the email and also wouldn't ask you to send details confirming who you are nor would it have a number in the subject bar. Do you play online? Then go to your national lottery account and check that way. If you don't play online I would just delete the email straight away but sadly sometimes these sort of emails contain virus's and by opening it up you could get your comp infected so best do a scan and check all is ok.

My job is usually associated with geeky IT type men....my spam to my work email is mostly: penis enlargement; Viagra; lovely ladies from Russia and China who think I sound like a good person who might send them some money....haven't had the heart to tell them I'm a straight girl who isn't desperate! :D

  20. Always good for a bit of sport they are.

Tell them you live in a caravan with no ID or bank account and you will hear no more
