scab and sore patch on back of cats neck

    I hope everyones keeping well.


    I was just stroking my cat Tilly and then felt something hard on the back of her head/neck. I thought it could be mud (even though she rarely goes outside) then on closer inspection saw that a scab was 1/2 off and showing a sore patch underneath.

    She hadn’t been showing any signs of discomfort throughout the day, or past few days, she just sleeps a lot and she doesn’t seem to be itching it.
    Does anyone have an idea what could be causing it or if theres experienced something similar?

    Is it where you applied a flea-drop?

    No i haven’t applied a flea drop recently
