Savic Sputnik tip

    I don't know if anyone is interested/cares, but I've found that the Savic Sputnik makes a really good sand bath!

    I was going to take a photo of Sausage modelling it... but he had moved by the time I got my camera!! :(

    Thats a great idea, thanks flissy :D

    I use a tupperware box (stolen out of my mums kitchen) for the dwarfs :D

    None of my hammies use their sputniks so they are left useless, but I think they will love this idea, gonna try it tommorrow.

    Sausage wasn't really using his much either... so I decided to make it more interesting lol :D

    I usually put some vegies in them for them but will try it with the sand :D

    Wow that's very clever! Genius in fact. The only reason my hammies don't have sand baths is because there's no room in their cages, but I can hang those from the top bars, so they can have them after all! Thanks so much for posting this *goes off to buy sputniks*

    Yeah, the sand bath I had was taking up too much floor space! So it is a good space saver :p

    Hey that's a great idea. I've put one in one of my Russians cages because our Syrian never used it. Going to put some sand in it now.:D Thanks Flissy.:D

    lol yeah, i thought it was a bit harsh having two sausages on the forum and Flissy did get there before me which is fair enough :)

    I will get some piccys as soon as i get him :) But cus i have to save up and buy everything it may be some time :S

    Don't worry, it will be worth it in the end :D

    As you are still saving up, I can keep an eye out for bargain cages on ebay if you want :)
