    Please meet Sam
Sam is an approximately 5 - 6 year old cocker spaniel who came into rescue after being neglected and ill treated in his previous home.
Sam needs a forever or foster home with someone who is prepared to give Sam time to trust them, a home who are prepared to be 'hands off' with Sam for the period of time it takes for him to trust that nothing bad will happen in your presence.
Sam is not a dog who will cower and hide in the presence of people, and from this reason he appears more confident than he is. He will approach for a fuss, but at times in some places he is not comfortable being stroked.
At SEDR, we can offer all of the positive reinforcement based behaviour modification programmes and support needed to help Sam in his journey to being rehabilitated, we just need a foster or forever home where this can be continued....he absolutely must be in a home with at least one other dog (no exceptions) and no children under 12 years Any foster or forever homes will need to be within 1 hour of Swanley or ashford so we can be on hand with full help and support throughout.
Sam is housetrained and really wants to please...he just needs someone to show him the way...could you be that person??
Sam has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped.
If you can help Sam on a journey to the life he should have, please email southeastdogrescuerescue@hotmail.com and we will be in touch.
