He takes 16 hours + to dry out usually and he could do with a bath, just wondering if it will cool him down or maybe make him a bit hotter at all?

He's really uncomfortable bless him but he wont stay inside for more than 2 minutes to cool down enough then he's back out

Kill two birds with one stone if I can bath him now ;)

If you use lukewarm/cool water I can't see it being a problem.

If you dont want to bathe him but want to cool him down, a sponge and a bowl of cool water washing his face and in his groine and under his armpits usually cools them down. Or a wet not dripping towel dipped in cold water and wrung out and laid over his back can help. The other thing I do with mine sometimes, is use the hose with one of the attachments that you can change the intensity of the water coming out, I put it on the very fine mist one, and just give them a very quick misting all over, doesnt "soak" them but is just enough to cool them down.

Chucked him in the bath

I lack in common sense quite a lot and thought whilst it should cool him down I best check there isn't something bad about it too

His bum looks huge now, its all fluffy and tufty

Both of our two had baths this morning, well Millie has a bath literally but Makita got a good sprinkling with the hose. He seemed to really enjoy it, :)

Then we took them for a strol to dry off.

Now I have to knackered sweet smelling dogs both fast asleep :D
