Her Story: Ruby was accidently run over by her past owners who couldn't afford the treatment or aftercare she so needed and walked out with her signed over to the vets to put to sleep or into rescue. We contributed to the costs and stood there for her. She came out of 2 week vet care into her foster home. She has made a good recovery and is now ready for her home.

Salient points: Tri-colour short legged smooth-haired Jack Russell. Just over one year old. She has a residual pin and plate in her left back leg with healed pelvic fractures. Now out of the woods and spayed. Excellent people and dog skills. Good with respectful children. Untested with cats or small furries.

Advert: Ruby is true jewel, small is size, but incredibly valuable. She is very REDy for her new family and charms. She is developing attractiveness, she mesmerises and captivates. So Ruby has acquired a sparkle in her eye thanks to her vets who so wanted to save her despite the extensive damage she had to her left hip. Thanks to her fosterer who has taken her through intensive rehab and periods of intensive rest ... and the beautiful jewel is now 'set'

Ruby is a glamour girl who turns the heads with her gentle personality and who is actually looking for a quieter life, lots of company and social walks. As with our rescue we are looking for that family! They will need to treasure her in all the right ways and afford her future vet. care as her accident will influence certain aspects of any insurance policy. She is in the meantime enjoying being part of 'her' gang and reflecting on her dream family.

Here are some new photos of Ruby from Jilly, her foster mum and
featuring her own mum Marjorie. Seems it's very hard being a foster dog at Jilly's house!
