Ok, I got a wisdom panel DNA test done on Rossi as I was curious as to what the results would say.

On one side (dads?) there is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, with a hint of English bull terrier.

On the other side (mums?) there is a German shepherd / Border collie cross!

Honestly, I'm quite happy with that! As I was very skeptical :) there could very well be collie in him, he stalks quite a bit which I thought was the GSD
in him as they are used to herd etc. I don't know much about collies and their behaviour!

Here's some photos of the boy :) (sorry about quality)

    The results sound plausible. :)

That's the most realistic set of DNA breed results I've seen :)

    WHAT?????
    No 0.5% Tasmanian Boot Spaniel?
    Where's the 1% Mexican Hairless? :confused1:

Seriously yes, it does sound plausible - however I would say there's some sighthound or lurcher in there as well.

Come on, there's no need to mention the Mexican Hairless... anyone can see she has that in her! It goes without saying!

Lol! Nope! Non of those weird mysterious breeds we've never heard of!! Staffie side was purebred and the grandparent and great parents where full GSD and full collie!

    I think so too!

I've just been reading up some more about collies and I'm starting to see more of it in him! He certainly has boundless energy, 2 long of lead runs a day and he is still ready for more! He is also quite sensitive which I thought was odd as I always presumed both staffies and GSD's to be confident breeds.
